Who we are and how to contact us

ClipRepurpose runs this service and decides how your data is used. Contact us about privacy, access or deletion at support@cliprepurpose.example.

What we store

Your email address, a salted password hash, the transcripts you submit, the packs generated from them, your voice samples and your usage counts. Payment details stay with Stripe; we keep only a Stripe customer and subscription reference and your plan.

How long we keep it

• Transcripts and generated content (packs, clips, posts): kept until you delete the video in the app, or delete your account. Deleting a video removes its transcript and pack straight away.
• Voice samples: kept until you remove them or delete your account.
• Account data (email, password hash, plan, usage counts): kept while the account exists. Deleting your account in the app removes all of it, including every transcript, pack and voice sample, straight away.
• Payment records: held by Stripe under its own retention rules and the tax and accounting rules that apply to it. We keep only the references named above, and these are removed with your account.
• Rate-limit and abuse counters hold short-lived technical data and expire on their own. We do not write transcripts, prompts, generated text, tokens or email addresses to our logs.

Who processes your data

• Cloudflare: hosting, delivery and the database that stores your account and content.
• Stripe: payments and subscription billing. It receives your email and the payment details you enter on its checkout page.
• Anthropic: AI generation. Your transcript and voice samples are sent to its language model to write your pack. They are sent as source material only and are not used by us to train models.
• YouTube: caption fetching. For YouTube links, the video id is sent to YouTube to fetch captions.
• A transcript API provider: if YouTube blocks direct caption fetching we may use a third-party transcript service, which would receive only the video id. We will update this notice before using one.

Deleting your data

Delete a video in the app to remove its transcript and pack. Delete your account in the app (it asks for your password) to remove everything we hold, including your voice samples and usage. If you have a paid plan, deleting the account first cancels your Stripe subscription immediately, so no further payments are taken; if Stripe cannot cancel it, nothing is deleted and you can try again. Cancelling this way ends access at once and does not by itself refund the current period (see the refund and cancellation policy). To ask for a copy of your data or for help deleting it, write to the contact address above.
